- Responsible for the creation of the Development team vision and targets, working with senior management team to create a cohesive plan to deliver business plan.
- Responsible for component and system designing, prototyping and testing activities to ensure compliance to all legal and internal targets.
- Plan and coordinate all vehicle-based tests necessary to support validation and sign off activities
- Prepare and maintain in line with business methodologies the forecast budget for all development activities estimating where necessary costs and materials requirements.
- Coordinate with the engineering team all system and vehicle based Failure mode Effects Analysis (FMEA) and report status for these plans within the project review meeting and milestone reviews.
- Maintain the program / documentation and present status and challenges at each project milestone review.
- Together with the engineering heads plan all development activities in line with business milestones, maintaining accurate test and material requirements for each component/ system and ensuring timely completion.
- Act with the rest of the senior management team to create a motivated, empowered workforce that meets the highest standards of openness and honesty.
Education: Btech/Mtech/post graduation
Experience – 7+ years of relevant experience
