About the Role
Catalyst Education is looking for an experienced Senior Academic Counsellor to join our Calicut team. The ideal candidate should have a passion for guiding students, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record in admissions or EdTech sales. You will play a key role in helping students choose the right courses while achieving admission targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Counsel prospective students and parents through calls, virtual meetings, and walk-ins.
- Understand students' career goals and recommend suitable courses.
- Convert enquiries into admissions by providing professional guidance.
- Follow up on leads generated through digital marketing, referrals, and educational events.
- Achieve monthly admission and revenue targets.
- Maintain accurate records in the CRM and ensure timely follow-ups.
- Coordinate with academic and operations teams for a seamless admission process.
- Participate in seminars, career guidance programmes, and promotional events.
- Mentor junior counsellors and contribute to overall team performance.
Eligibility
- Bachelor's Degree (Master's degree is an added advantage).
- 2–5 years of experience in Academic Counselling, Admissions, or EdTech Sales.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Proven ability to achieve admission and sales targets.
- Experience using CRM software and Microsoft Office.
- Customer-focused, target-driven, and proactive.
