About the Role
We are looking for a creative and passionate Game UI Designer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing engaging, intuitive, and visually appealing user interfaces for mobile and web-based games. You will work closely with game designers, developers, artists, and product teams to create seamless player experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Design user-friendly and visually engaging game interfaces, menus, HUDs, icons, buttons, and interactive elements.
- Create wireframes, mockups, user flows, and high-fidelity UI designs.
- Develop and maintain UI design systems and style guides.
- Collaborate with game designers and developers to ensure smooth implementation of UI assets.
- Optimize UI layouts for multiple screen sizes and platforms.
- Conduct UI/UX research and incorporate player feedback into design improvements.
- Create interactive prototypes to demonstrate game flows and user journeys.
- Ensure consistency in branding and visual language across all game products.
- Stay updated with the latest gaming, UI/UX, and design trends.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Design, Fine Arts, Multimedia, or a related field (preferred).
- 2+ years of experience in UI/UX design, preferably in the gaming industry.
- Proficiency in Figma, Adobe XD, Photoshop, Illustrator, or similar design tools.
- Strong understanding of user-centered design principles.
- Experience designing interfaces for mobile games, PC games, or web-based gaming platforms.
- Knowledge of design systems, typography, color theory, and visual hierarchy.
- Ability to create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Unity UI systems and game development workflows.
- Understanding of player behavior and gaming user experience.
- Experience creating animations and motion graphics for game interfaces.
- Portfolio showcasing game UI projects and design expertise.
