Responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of mobile and software products through comprehensive testing and validation. Provides leadership and guidance to testing teams, develops and executes test strategies, and collaborates closely with development and cross-functional teams. Plans and supports release activities, tracks quality metrics, and drives continuous improvement to ensure delivery of high-quality products to end customers.
- Plan and execute software testing activities for mobile and related software products, including developing test plans, cases, procedures, and scripts.
- Lead and mentor testers, promoting best practices and a strong quality-focused culture across the team.
- Collaborate with developers and cross-functional teams to clarify requirements, identify defects, and drive timely resolution of issues.
- Support release planning and effort estimation, providing input on scope, timelines, and product improvements based on prior releases and feedback.
- Manage testing schedules, deliverables, and reporting, ensuring clear communication of progress, risks, and quality status to stakeholders.
- Perform system-level and end-to-end testing across software and hardware integrations to validate full product functionality.
- Utilize defect tracking and configuration management tools to document issues and monitor key quality metrics.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and support adoption of structured testing methodologies and automation.
- Assist in resolving internal and customer-reported issues by investigating root causes and recommending effective solutions.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of experience in software testing or quality assurance, preferably with mobile applications.
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.
- Experience with mobile platforms (iOS and/or Android) and related testing tools.
- Proficiency with defect tracking and test management tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, Jira, etc.).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with test automation frameworks and scripting is a plus.
