Position: Resident Medical Officer (RMO) – Gynaecology

Eligibility
- Postgraduate degree in Obstetrics & Gynaecology (MD/MS/DNB) from a recognised institution.
- Valid registration with the State Medical Council/NMC.
- Fresh postgraduate candidates are welcome to apply.
- Candidates with prior experience in a hospital-based Gynaecology/Obstetrics role will be preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide 24×7 clinical support to the Gynaecology & Obstetrics department as per assigned duty roster.
- Conduct clinical assessment and monitoring of admitted patients.
- Assist consultants in the management of obstetric and gynaecological cases.
- Attend emergencies and promptly escalate critical/high-risk cases to the concerned consultant.
- Assist in labour room, emergency obstetric care, procedures and OT-related activities as required.
- Monitor post-operative and post-procedure patients.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation, progress notes, orders and discharge-related records.
- Ensure appropriate communication and handover between shifts.
- Coordinate with nursing, laboratory, radiology and other clinical departments for patient care.
- Follow hospital clinical protocols, infection-control practices, patient-safety standards and medico-legal requirements.
- Participate in departmental audits, quality-improvement activities and other responsibilities assigned by the department/hospital administration.
