Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct detailed quality checks and inspections of jewelry craftsmanship at various stages of production to ensure adherence to required standards.
- Evaluate the quality of precious metals and gemstones used in jewelry making.
- Work closely with the smith teams to identify and rectify defects in jewelry items.
- Ensure that the final products meet the design specifications and quality standards before they are dispatched to our showrooms.
- Maintain accurate records of quality checks, issues identified, and corrective actions taken.
- Provide feedback and recommendations to improve product quality and production processes.
- Stay updated with the latest trends in jewelry making and quality assurance practices.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Quality Checker in the jewelry industry, specifically in a goldsmithing environment.
- Strong knowledge of jewelry materials, gemstones, and production techniques.
- Excellent attention to detail and a keen eye for identifying defects in jewelry items.
- Good communication skills to effectively work with the production team and provide constructive feedback.
- Ability to work independently and make decisions related to product quality.
- High school diploma or equivalent; further education or certification in gemology or jewelry manufacturing is a plus.
