We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accounts Manager to lead the finance and accounting operations of our premium imported marble and tile showroom in Kochi. The ideal candidate should have strong accounting expertise, excellent analytical skills, and prior experience in the marble, tiles, building materials, or construction industry.
Experience
- Minimum 6+ years of experience in Accounts & Finance.
- Experience in the marble, tiles, sanitaryware, building materials, construction, or related industry will be an added advantage.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations and ensure accurate financial records.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and MIS reports.
- Monitor cash flow, working capital, and financial planning.
- Handle GST, TDS, Income Tax, and statutory compliance.
- Coordinate with auditors, banks, and regulatory authorities.
- Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and vendor reconciliations.
- Ensure proper inventory accounting and cost control.
- Review asset accounting, depreciation, and financial reconciliations.
- Prepare budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis for management.
- Lead and mentor the accounts team while ensuring timely completion of all financial activities.
- Support management with financial analysis and business decision-making.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of Accounting Principles, GST, TDS, and statutory compliance.
- Proficiency in Tally ERP/Tally Prime, Odoo ERP, and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent analytical, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and team management abilities.
- High level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail.
Qualification
- Bachelor's Degree in Commerce (B.Com) is mandatory.
- M.Com, CA Inter, CMA Inter, or equivalent professional qualification will be an added advantage.
