About Sir Mutha Venkatasubba Rao Concert Hall:
The Sir Mutha Venkatasubba Rao Concert Hall, founded in 2008, a premium venue in India and a fully furnished, 2600 sq. Ft Concert Hall in the heart of the city. With close to 1200-member seating capacity, it also features a 200-person capacity black box experimental theatre with an outdoor performance area and 3 versatile training rooms. Sir Mutha Venkatasubba Rao Concert Hall is one of the first halls in the city, with integrated, exceptional audio-visual and lighting equipment manned by trained technicians. This makes the Concert Hall a versatile venue for performances of every scale.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with the Admin Office to receive all event details, client requirements,
- technical riders, and production schedules.
- Attend meetings along with the operations team with the client and make detailed notes on the requirements and requests.
- Plan and coordinate all production requirements with the Audio, Lighting, LED, Electrical, Stage, and SFX teams.
- Liaise with clients, artists, and technical personnel regarding production requirements.
- Schedule and supervise venue setup, rehearsals, sound checks, and technical runs.
- Coordinate with external vendors for equipment, manpower, and production support.
- Ensure all production elements are ready before the event and meet the clients specified requirements.
- Act as the primary production coordinator and one point of contact from prelim client meetings, setup and show days and ensure smooth communication between all departments.
- Troubleshoot production and technical issues during setup, rehearsals, and live events from initial discussion with the client and concert hall team.
- Supervise dismantling after the event and ensure the venue is restored to its original condition.
- Verify equipment usage, collect vendor invoices, and submit production-related documents to the Administration Office.
- Ensure compliance with venue safety procedures and operational standards.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline preferred.
- Strong technical knowledge.
- Strong background in event management, with hands-on experience in event production and execution.
- Proven experience in managing end-to-end event production, ensuring seamless planning and delivery.
- Good understanding of live event production.
- Ability to coordinate multiple departments simultaneously.
- Strong communication, planning, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple events.
- Good organizational and leadership skills.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Prior experience in theatre, concert venues, or live event production is preferred.
