Job Summary
Warade Packtech Pvt. Ltd. is looking for an experienced Senior Automation Engineer to design, develop, program, commission, and troubleshoot advanced automation solutions for packaging machinery and end-of-line automation systems.
The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in PLC programming, HMI/SCADA, servo systems, motion control, robotics, and industrial automation with the ability to execute projects from engineering design to final commissioning.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop automation solutions for packaging machines including checkweighers, cartoners, case packers, bagging lines, palletizers, and conveyor systems.
- Develop, modify, and troubleshoot PLC, HMI, SCADA, servo, and motion control applications.
- Handle automation projects from concept, programming, testing, and commissioning.
- Integrate PLCs, sensors, VFDs, servo drives, robots, and industrial communication systems.
- Perform machine debugging, performance optimization, and technical troubleshooting.
- Support customer site installation and commissioning activities.
- Prepare automation documentation, electrical drawings, and technical reports.
- Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, production, and project teams for successful project execution.
- Provide technical guidance and support to junior automation engineers.
Required Skills & Experience
- 5–8 years of experience in industrial automation, packaging machinery, or machine building industry.
- Strong knowledge of PLC programming, HMI/SCADA systems, servo drives, VFDs, and motion control.
- Hands-on experience with automation platforms such as Siemens, Allen Bradley, Mitsubishi, or similar.
- Experience in machine commissioning, troubleshooting, and system integration.
- Knowledge of robotics, industrial networks, and communication protocols will be an added advantage.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to travel for customer installations and commissioning projects.
Education Qualification
- B.E./B.Tech in Automation, Mechatronics, or Mechanical Engineering.
