Short Description:
Support the sales function in the bidding process by organization by developing accurate, timely and professional estimates. You will analyze the sales estimates to the customer requirements and provide guidance on factors to be used for competitive estimating. You will provide accurate and timely estimates, which includes scope, material, and labor effort by skilled discipline. You will develop cost effective estimates and identify explicit proposal inclusions to be prepared within required timelines.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Design & Estimate the Building Management System (BMS) projects as per tender requirements.
- Interaction with customers for inputs, clarifications and information required to deliver the quality estimate within timeline.
- Quantity take-off from tender documents.
- Prepare BMS I/O summary from Control Schematics & Sequence of Operations.
- Selection of DDC controllers and Field Devices.
- Propose cost effective and competitive solutions.
- Study tender specifications and prepare compliance statement and list of deviations.
- Preparations of Sales Technical Submittals like Datasheets, System Architecture, etc.
Required Skill Set:
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in estimation & design of BMS solution.
- Sufficient knowledge about BMS & HVAC controls.
- Added Advantage if FAS, CCTV, ACS, PA and Other ELV systems knowledge.
- Reading and Creation of AUTOCAD drawings/Microsoft Visio Software.
- Team Member & Good communication skills.
- Strong numerical aptitude & demonstrated proficiency with MS-Office (Mainly Excel/ PPT & Word)
- Ability to meet and improve delivered financial results from implemented estimates
Experience: 3-5 Years
Education: BE in Instrumentation/Electronics/Electrical Engineering
