About the Role
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Housekeeping Supervisor to lead our housekeeping team and ensure the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, maintenance reporting, and guest satisfaction across the property. The ideal candidate should have prior hotel or resort housekeeping experience and strong leadership skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily housekeeping operations and allocate room assignments.
- Inspect guest rooms, public areas, washrooms, terraces, lounges, and back-of-house areas to ensure cleanliness standards are maintained.
- Coordinate room readiness with Front Office for smooth guest check-ins.
- Train, guide, and motivate housekeeping attendants.
- Maintain housekeeping inventories including linen, guest supplies, cleaning chemicals, and amenities.
- Conduct daily room inspections and quality audits.
- Prepare duty rosters, attendance records, and shift schedules.
- Report maintenance issues and coordinate with the maintenance team for timely resolution.
- Handle guest requests and housekeeping-related complaints professionally.
- Ensure compliance with hygiene, safety, and sanitation standards.
- Monitor linen movement, laundry operations, and housekeeping store management.
- Maintain lost & found records and housekeeping logs.
Requirements
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in hotel housekeeping.
- At least 1 year in a supervisory role preferred.
- Good knowledge of housekeeping procedures, chemicals, and inventory control.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to train and monitor housekeeping staff.
- Basic computer knowledge (Excel, Google Sheets, PMS preferred).
- Good communication skills in Hindi and basic English.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, weekends, and holidays.
Salary & Benefits
- Salary: ₹18,000 – ₹25,000 per month (based on experience)
