Assistant Project Manager Fire

Key Responsibilities:

· Manage the project life cycle of MEP Projects (Fire Protection & Detection Systems, ETP, STP, WTP etc).

· Conducting site visits, preparing design drawings, BOQs, and technical documentation related to MEP projects.

· Oversees the commissioning process to ensure that it is performed in accordance with standard practices.

· Monitor project timelines, budgets, resources, estimated design and project management hours to avoid overruns and delays.

· Facilitates escalation of product related problems.

· Acts as a technical resource for Sales on large projects.

· Reviews and interprets contract Terms and Conditions.

· Attends job progress meetings as required.

· Ensures subcontractors understand expectations of the project.

· Ensures that team members, and subcontractors adhere to safety standards.

· Be accountable for customer acceptance of project solutions.

· Manage the project technical risks and corresponding mitigation plans.

· Validate the technical design choices with peers and project director.

· Manage the project solution- The customization & parameterization of the generic solution to meet the requirement.

· Deploy the applicable Engineering process, method, tools on the project.

· Coordinate necessary actions during the project warranty period to support the resolution of any pending technical issues post-project completion.

· Conduct regular site visits to ensure work quality and assess employee performance.

· Implement HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) standards at project sites.

· Provide leadership and direction to site engineers, supervisors, and teams.

· Support in resolving technical issues and providing technical solutions.

· Coordinate with clients to ensure seamless site operations.

Qualifications & Experience:

· Bachelor’s degree/Diploma in Mechanical/ Fire & Safety Engineering.

· 3-6 years of relevant experience in managing fire protection & detection system projects.

· Strong project management, coordination, and client-handling skills.

· Proficiency in AutoCAD

· Excellent communication and leadership abilities.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
