About the Role
Jointseal is looking for a hands-on Plant Executive to oversee day-to-day plant operations, ensure smooth production flow, and maintain quality and safety standards. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, comfortable on the shop floor, and able to coordinate between production, stores, dispatch, and quality teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise daily production activities of tile adhesives, grouts, and related construction chemical products.
- Ensure timely execution of production plans as per dispatch and sales requirements.
- Monitor batching, mixing, packing, and material handling processes.
- Coordinate with the Quality Control team to ensure product quality standards are maintained.
- Manage and supervise plant operators, helpers, and contract labour.
- Ensure optimum utilization of manpower, machinery, and raw materials.
- Maintain daily production reports, stock records, and plant performance data.
- Coordinate with the Stores department for availability of cement, sand, polymers, additives, packaging materials, and other raw materials.
- Ensure proper housekeeping and adherence to safety practices across the plant.
- Support preventive maintenance activities and coordinate with maintenance personnel during machine breakdowns.
- Monitor production losses and implement corrective actions to improve efficiency and reduce wastage.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, operational procedures, and statutory requirements.
- Assist management in implementing process improvements and productivity enhancement initiatives.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech (Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial, or related) — or graduate with relevant plant experience.
- 1–4 years of experience in a manufacturing/production plant environment.
- Working knowledge of production planning, inventory, and quality processes.
- Familiar with MS Excel / MIS reporting.
- Strong coordination, supervision, and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of safety norms and good manufacturing practices.
