Roles & Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement standardized automation and PLC programming solutions.
- Create detailed schematics and electrical control systems for automation, including logic flow diagrams and system operation sequences.
- Prepare comprehensive engineering documentation, including specifications and BOMs for automation systems, panels, and vision systems.
- Test, verify, and troubleshoot system operations and sequences for reliability and functionality.
- Incorporate logic improvements based on customer needs or manufacturing requirements.
- Coordinate closely with mechanical, electrical, and manufacturing teams throughout programming, debugging, and commissioning phases—both in-house and at customer sites.
- Develop and test PLC programs using platforms such as Siemens, Omron, Mitsubishi, Allen Bradley, Delta.
- Design and configure HMI interfaces (Siemens, Omron, Allen Bradley, Schneider) as per application needs.
- Develop and modify SCADA systems (preferably Siemens or equivalent) according to project requirements.
- Integrate and configure smart tools such as nut runners, screwdrivers, and torque tools into automation systems using appropriate communication protocols (e.g., Open Protocol, Modbus, Ethernet/IP).
- Understand and implement controls using various voltages (110V/220V/440V AC, 12V/24V DC).
- Select and apply sensors such as proximity switches, laser optics, photoelectric, and vision sensors.
- Possess strong foundational knowledge in electrical and controls engineering principles.
- Be proficient in control panel wiring, total machine wiring, and power circuit layout.
