Job Summary
STEP UP SCHOOL is seeking a passionate and knowledgeable PGT Computer Science Teacher to teach senior secondary students (Classes XI & XII) as per the CBSE curriculum. The ideal candidate should inspire students to develop strong programming, analytical, and problem-solving skills while preparing them for board examinations and future careers in technology.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach Computer Science to Classes XI & XII following the CBSE curriculum.
- Prepare annual lesson plans, worksheets, assignments, and assessments.
- Conduct practical sessions in the computer laboratory.
- Teach programming concepts such as Python, SQL, Data Structures, Database Management Systems, Networking, and Computer Systems.
- Evaluate student performance through tests, practicals, projects, and examinations.
- Maintain academic records, attendance, and progress reports.
- Prepare students for CBSE Board Examinations and coding competitions.
- Integrate technology and innovative teaching methods into classroom instruction.
- Participate in school events, parent-teacher meetings, faculty meetings, and professional development programs.
Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Computer Science / MCA / M.Tech (Computer Science) or equivalent.
- B.Ed. from a recognized university.
- Minimum 2–3 years of teaching experience in a CBSE school preferred.
- Strong command over Python, SQL, DBMS, Computer Networks, and Object-Oriented Programming.
- Excellent communication, classroom management, and interpersonal skills.
