Job Summary:
The Assistant Salesman is responsible for assisting customers in the purchase of electrical products, maintaining stock arrangements, and supporting the daily operations of the electrical shop. The role requires good customer service, product knowledge, and coordination with the sales team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist customers in selecting electrical products and materials
- Provide basic information regarding products, pricing, and availability
- Support billing, packing, and delivery coordination
- Maintain cleanliness and proper arrangement of shop items and displays
- Check stock availability and assist in inventory management
- Receive and organize incoming materials and products
- Coordinate with the sales team and store staff for smooth operations
- Handle customer inquiries politely and professionally
- Assist in loading/unloading materials when required
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- SSLC / Plus Two or equivalent qualification
- Basic knowledge of electrical products and materials preferred
- Good communication and customer handling skills
- Basic computer knowledge is an advantage
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Physically fit for shop-related activities
Experience:
- Freshers or experienced candidates can apply
- Experience in electrical or hardware shops will be an added advantage
