The Visual Merchandiser is responsible for planning, designing, and executing showroom display strategies to enhance product presentation, strengthen brand identity, and improve customer experience. The role focuses on creating impactful visual layouts for products such as tiles, sanitaryware, bath fittings, marble, granite, and allied building materials, with the objective of supporting sales growth and maximizing showroom efficiency.
Key Responsibilities1. Showroom Visual Planning & Execution
- Develop and implement effective visual merchandising strategies aligned with business objectives and brand standards.
- Plan showroom layouts to optimize space utilization, product visibility, and customer navigation.
- Ensure all display zones are aesthetically maintained and aligned with category presentation standards.
2. Product Display Management
- Create innovative and attractive product displays for tiles, sanitaryware, bath fittings, marble, granite, and related products.
- Design thematic and lifestyle-based display concepts to improve customer product visualization.
- Ensure accurate product tagging, specifications, and display information are properly maintained.
3. Brand Standards & Presentation
- Maintain consistency in visual presentation across all showroom sections in line with company branding guidelines.
- Ensure the showroom environment reflects premium standards in cleanliness, arrangement, and product presentation.
- Monitor and update display concepts based on seasonal campaigns, promotions, and new product launches.
4. Coordination & Cross-Functional Support
- Collaborate with sales, procurement, category, and operations teams for display planning and implementation.
- Support product launch activities by ensuring timely display setup and presentation readiness.
- Coordinate with vendors and internal teams for display fixtures, branding materials, and merchandising requirements.
5. Market Intelligence & Innovation
- Conduct regular market research to benchmark competitor display practices and identify merchandising trends.
- Analyze customer behavior and buying patterns to improve product placement and display effectiveness.
- Recommend improvements in showroom aesthetics and customer engagement strategies.
6. Display Maintenance & Compliance
- Conduct regular audits to ensure showroom visual standards are maintained consistently.
- Identify damaged, outdated, or ineffective displays and coordinate timely replacements.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and operational guidelines related to showroom displays.
