Job Summary:
The Workplace Business Operations Sr Manager/Assoc. Director is part of the core workplace operations leadership responsible for driving the entire functions of Logistics, License, Excise, Customs, SEZ, STPI, GST, FEMA and other regulatory compliances in conduct of business; establishing a good and healthy relationship with internal departments and external agencies. An SME, responsible for indirect tax(Customs) compliance and manage two schemes rolled out by Government of India i.e., STPI & SEZ.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage PAN India logistics and Compliance matters related to customs, GST, SEZ, STPI & FEMA including timely filing of statutory reports/returns etc., as per statutory prescribed frequency- Key facilitator for Trade Bodies EPCES, NASSCOM, CII and share representations with the Government for policy relaxation matters.
- Program Manage internal Projects with regard to Laptop Compliance, Integration of various tools (EO/SEZ soft compliance tool, EAM, Invog) for data integrity.
- Support RE portfolio in taking additional space and surrender cases.
- Manage GST field operations, E waybills and Refund cases.
- Support Deals and Acquisition cases for smooth integration into ASPL.
- Manage state regulatory agencies on Labor, Pollution control, Stamp duties, Electricity in relation to incentives and reporting as required in SEZ/STPI rules.
- Must have knowledge of export controls laws and embargoes.
- Report best practices by way of Bench Marking with peers.
- Conduct/face external & Internal Audits and educate clients on Do’s and Don'ts.
- Work closely with legal, Workplace, Procurement, ISA, Project Management teams, Business Development teams, controllership and facilitate teams on compliance & best practices
- Incident reporting of non-Compliance Activities to leadership.
- Capable of interpreting the law, practice and procedures relating to the field of Customs, Central Excise and Service Tax. Hands on understanding of the Foreign Trade Policy, STPI, SEZ Act, Customs, GST Acts.
- In-depth and Practical Knowledge on giving suitable response to show cause notices from regulatory authorities.
- Preparing replies and causing appearance before various statutory authorities in connection with Customs, STPI, SEZ & FEMA matters relating to export and import of goods and services
- Competent to lead a large team on PAN India basis
- A keen planner & strategist with attained proficiency in spearheading Customs Compliance function to ensure seamless operations.

Qualifications and Experience
At least 20-25 years of overall experience with last 10 years in mid/senior management role in a large international organization- Graduate in any disciple from a reputed institute and with added degree in Law from any recognized university
Travel : The role requires travelling to all Accenture office locations, as required
