Job Summary
As an RTR Lead Analyst in a Global Capability Center, you will be responsible for managing end-to-end Record to Report processes, ensuring compliance with global accounting standards, and driving operational excellence. You will act as a key liaison between the GCC and global finance teams, supporting strategic initiatives and continuous improvement.
Roles & Responsibility:
Lead and manage the RTR operations including journal entries, general ledger, fixed assets, intercompany transactions, and reconciliations.
Monitor intercompany balances in API Consolidation System (OneStream) and follow-up with country Finance teams to address any observed imbalances
Ensure timely and accurate month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.
Review and validate financial statements and reports in compliance with IFRS/GAAP.
Act as a subject matter expert (SME) for RTR processes and tools (e.g., SAP, Oracle, OneStream).
Collaborate with global finance teams and business units to ensure alignment and support.
Drive automation and process improvement initiatives within the RTR function.
Ensure adherence to internal controls, SOX compliance, and audit requirements.
Support ERP implementations, upgrades, and other transformation projects.
Mentor and guide junior team members and analysts.
Handle other Ad-hoc tasks as required.
Years of experience
6–8 years of experience in RTR or general accounting, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
Experience working in a shared services or global capability center environment.
Shift Timings:
2 p.m. to 11 p.m
Educational Qualification
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Professional certifications (CA, CPA, ACCA, CMA) preferred.
Skill sets required :
Mandatory
Strong knowledge of ERP systems and financial reporting tools.
Strong balance sheet and P&L experience
Group head office / intercompany experience desirable
Good understanding of excel and other MS Office
Use of HFM/Hyperion/One Stream or similar consolidation system preferred
Experience of JDE or similar ERP system
Self-motivated with attention to detail and able to accurately work under pressure
Able to work with fixed deadlines
Prepared to speak up when identify issues, able to solve issues of moderate complexity.
Sensitive handling of confidential information
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
Proficiency in Excel, Power BI, and financial systems.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of Lean/Six Sigma methodologies is a plus.
