About the Role
Nevyati Engineering Consultancy LLP is looking for a skilled Murti Artist & Grinder with hands-on experience in sculpting, finishing, and detailing statues (murti). The role involves artistic craftsmanship combined with precision grinding and surface finishing to achieve high-quality final outputs.
Key Responsibilities
- Sculpt, shape, and refine murtis as per design references or physical models.
- Perform grinding, smoothing, and surface finishing work.
- Handle tools and equipment safely for carving and finishing.
- Work closely with designers/engineers to match design intent.
- Ensure quality, symmetry, proportions, and fine detailing.
- Repair, modify, or refine existing sculptures when required.
- Maintain cleanliness and safety of tools and workspace.
Required Qualifications
- Practical experience as a murti artist, sculptor, or grinder.
- Strong understanding of form, proportion, and detailing.
- Skilled in manual sculpting and grinding techniques.
- Ability to follow drawings, models, or reference samples.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with materials such as POP, clay, resin, stone, or similar.
- Exposure to modern sculpting or finishing tools.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new techniques or processes.
