Role Overview
We are looking for a proactive and technically inclined Sales Coordinator to support our New Business Development (NBD) function. The role is central to managing the full pre-order sales cycle — from lead follow-up and quotation preparation to purchase order confirmation — while maintaining accurate CRM and enquiry records. The ideal candidate will work closely with the technical head and management to drive business growth.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Management & RFQ Follow-Up
- Follow up promptly on incoming leads and Requests for Quotation (RFQs) received via phone, email, or CRM.
- Qualify leads by understanding the customer’s application, tolerance requirements, and gauge specifications.
- Maintain a structured lead tracker and ensure zero lead leakage through timely follow-ups.
Quotation Preparation & Technical Coordination
- Prepare technically accurate quotations using company software/ERP, incorporating correct product descriptions, tolerances, standards (IS, ISO, BS, DIN), and delivery timelines.
- Develop and maintain sound product knowledge across SVNM’s portfolio — thread gauges, plain gauges, air gauges, and calibration services.
- Coordinate with the Technical Head for non-standard or complex gauge inquiries requiring engineering input.
- Ensure quotations are dispatched within defined TAT (turnaround time) and confirm receipt with the client.
Client Communication & Negotiation Support
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients during the pre-order phase.
- Coordinate technical discussions or negotiations between the client and the Technical Head.
- Manage client objections professionally and escalate pricing/delivery decisions to management as needed.
- Build and nurture long-term relationships with procurement and quality teams at client organizations.
Purchase Order (PO) Follow-Up & Closure
- Systematically follow up with clients post-quotation to drive PO closure.
- Ensure PO terms (quantity, delivery, price, standards) are aligned with the issued quotation before handover to production/dispatch.
- Flag discrepancies in PO vs. quotation terms and seek timely resolution.
Data Entry, Reporting & CRM Management
- Log all incoming enquiries, quotes, and POs in the company’s CRM/ERP or Google Sheets-based management system.
- Maintain up-to-date status of all active leads and opportunities in the sales pipeline.
- Generate weekly/monthly sales activity reports covering lead count, conversion rate, pending follow-ups, and revenue funnel.
- Assist management with data for MIS reporting and business review meetings.
Digital & Administrative Coordination
- Handle professional client correspondence via email and phone using the company-provided business phone.
- Maintain organized digital records of all client communications, quotations, and signed POs.
- Coordinate internally with accounts for proforma invoices and with dispatch for delivery commitments.
- Support in preparing sales presentations, capability documents, or vendor registration forms as required.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Excellent written and verbal communication in English; Hindi proficiency is an added advantage.
- Proficiency in Google Sheets, MS Excel, and business software / ERP tools.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents, drawings, or product specifications — prior exposure to engineering or manufacturing preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple open quotations simultaneously.
- Customer-first mindset with a persistent, professional follow-up approach.
- Attention to detail in data entry and documentation.
- Familiarity with email platforms (Gmail / Outlook) and professional communication etiquette.
- Ability to learn product and industry knowledge quickly and apply it in client interactions.

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
