South City International School is seeking a passionate and dedicated Geography Teacher to join our academic team and contribute to a progressive and enriching learning environment. The selected candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging Geography lessons, developing students’ conceptual understanding of geographical concepts, and fostering curiosity about the physical and human environment. The role also involves assessing student performance, providing constructive feedback, and creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes active participation and overall student success.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging Geography lessons in line with the prescribed curriculum.
- Develop students’ understanding of geographical concepts, maps, data interpretation, and real-world applications.
- Prepare lesson plans and innovative teaching materials to enhance learning.
- Conduct assessments and provide constructive feedback on student progress.
- Provide additional support to students requiring academic guidance.
- Encourage critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills through interactive activities and discussions.
- Organize projects, field visits, co-curricular activities, and Geography-related events.
- Maintain accurate academic records, assessment data, and reports.
- Communicate with students and parents regarding academic progress.
- Stay updated with current geographical developments and modern teaching methodologies.
- Participate in parent-teacher meetings and school events.
- Undertake academic and administrative responsibilities as assigned.
Preferred Candidate profile
Qualifications
- Masters' degree in Geography with B.ED (Mandatory)
Experience
- Minimum 3 years of experience teaching Geography to Classes 6–12, preferably in an ICSE/ISC school.
Salary
- Negotiable for Suitable candidate

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
