Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and responsible Store In-Charge to manage the day-to-day operations of our solar product warehouse in Vijayawada. The candidate will be responsible for inventory management, material receiving and dispatch, stock accuracy, warehouse coordination, and proper handling of solar products and related materials.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily warehouse and store operations, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch of solar products.
- Maintain accurate stock records, inventory registers, and ERP entries.
- Verify incoming materials against invoices, purchase orders, delivery challans, and other documents.
- Ensure proper loading and unloading of solar panels, inverters, batteries, structures, cables, and other solar materials.
- Monitor stock levels and conduct regular physical stock verification and reconciliation.
- Ensure proper stacking, labeling, identification, and safe storage of materials.
- Coordinate with the Purchase, Sales, Logistics, Finance, and Project teams for timely material movement.
- Prepare and maintain GRN, stock transfer, issue, dispatch, and material return records.
- Track material movement and ensure timely dispatch to project sites, dealers, distributors, and customers.
- Ensure proper handling and safety of solar products to prevent damage during storage and movement.
- Manage warehouse labour and supervise loading/unloading activities.
- Identify damaged, missing, excess, or short materials and report discrepancies to the concerned authority.
- Maintain proper warehouse housekeeping and follow company safety and security procedures.
- Prepare daily/weekly/monthly stock and warehouse reports for management.
- Support internal and external stock audits and ensure proper documentation.
Required Skills
- 2–5 years of experience in Store, Warehouse, or Logistics Operations.
- Previous experience as a Store In-Charge / Store Executive / Warehouse Supervisor will be preferred.
- Experience in handling solar products, electrical materials, or industrial products will be an advantage.
- Good knowledge of inventory management and warehouse operations.
- Basic knowledge of ERP/software and MS Excel.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to manage warehouse staff and loading/unloading activities.
- Good organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to maintain accurate documentation and stock records.
Educational Qualification
Graduate / Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Commerce, or a related field is preferred.
Preferred Candidate
Candidates with 2–5 years of relevant experience in logistics, warehouse, or store management, especially in the solar, electrical, EPC, or renewable energy sector, are encouraged to apply.
