Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented Manual QA Tester with 1 to 2 years of hands-on experience to join our QA team immediately. In this role, you will be responsible for testing our software products, identifying bugs, and ensuring high-quality user experience. You must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and ready to hit the ground running from day one.
Key Responsibilities
- Test Execution: Analyze requirements, write comprehensive test cases, and execute manual test suites across web and mobile platforms.
- Bug Reporting: Identify, record, document, and track bugs thoroughly using tools like Jira, Trello, or similar bug-tracking systems.
- Regression Testing: Perform regression testing whenever bugs are resolved or new features are deployed to ensure system stability.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the development team to help reproduce bugs and verify fixes.
- Documentation: Maintain up-to-date documentation of test cases, test plans, and release notes.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Experience: 1–2 years of professional experience in Manual Testing (Web and Mobile Applications).
- Testing Concepts: Strong understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes (SDLC, STLC, Agile/Scrum).
- API Testing: Basic knowledge of testing APIs using tools like Postman is a strong plus.
- Database: Basic SQL knowledge to query databases for backend data verification.
- Attention to Detail: Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills to spot edge cases.
- Communication: Clear written and verbal communication skills to report issues accurately to developers.
- Basic automation skills.
