Role Summary
The Planning Engineer for Heat Exchangers will be responsible for planning, scheduling, and coordinating fabrication activities for pressure vessels such as Heat Exchangers, ensuring safe, accurate, and timely project execution in line with engineering, quality, and customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities
1) Prepare and control project schedules using MS Project (MSP)
2) Interpret engineering and shop drawings related to pressure vessel fabrication
3) Plan resources, full kits, fixtures, and fabrication facilities
4) Ensure fixture accuracy, process compliance, and safety in planning
5) Maintain planning documentation and manage changes
6) Design Fixtures according to the equipment fabrication process requirement.
7) Co-ordination with various departments for tracking of materials and deliverables.
Experience & Skills
Relevant experience in fabrication of Pressure Vessels (Heat Exchangers preferred).
Strong understanding of engineering drawings and fabrication processes.
Sound engineering knowledge with hands-on planning experience.
Working knowledge of fabrication, welding, machining, NDE, testing, and logistics resources.
High focus on safety, quality, and error-free planning.
