Role description
Network Engineer
We are seeking a Network Engineer to design, implement, and maintain our organization's network infrastructure, ensuring secure, reliable, and high-performance connectivity across all office and data center locations.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, configure, deploy, and maintain LAN, WAN, WLAN, and VPN infrastructure across office and data center locations.
- Manage and configure routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, and wireless access points.
- Monitor network performance and availability using network monitoring tools.
• Troubleshoot and resolve network incidents, outages, and performance degradation issues within defined SLAs.
• Plan and implement network capacity upgrades, redundancy, and failover mechanisms.
• Manage network security controls — ACLs, VLANs, NAT, firewall rules — in coordination with the Security team.
- Maintain network documentation including topology diagrams, IP addressing schemes, and configuration backups.
• Coordinate with ISPs and telecom vendors for circuit provisioning, outages, and escalations.
• Perform regular firmware/OS upgrades and vulnerability patching on network devices.
- Support network requirements for new office setups, data center migrations, and disaster recovery drills.
- Participate in on-call rotation for critical network incidents.
Required Skills & Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, Electronics, or related field.
- Hands-on experience with firewall and security appliances.
- Experience with network monitoring and management tools.
