Civil Engineer – Industrial / Factory Construction Project

Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Civil Engineer with strong exposure to industrial and factory construction projects. The role requires hands-on involvement in site execution, quantity surveying, billing, estimation, contractor coordination, and project monitoring.
The ideal candidate should be capable of independently handling civil works from drawing interpretation through execution while ensuring quality, cost control, and timely project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise day-to-day site execution activities for industrial/factory construction projects.
- Interpret civil, structural, and architectural drawings and ensure work is executed as per approved drawings and specifications.
- Prepare quantity take-offs from drawings and support estimation, budgeting, and cost control activities.
- Prepare and verify BOQs, RA bills, subcontractor bills, reconciliation statements, and progress reports.
- Monitor project progress against schedules and take corrective actions where required.
- Coordinate with contractors, consultants, vendors, and project stakeholders to ensure smooth execution.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards, safety requirements, and project specifications.
- Track material consumption, productivity, and site progress.
- Prepare project documentation, measurement records, billing documents, and execution reports.
- Support project planning, scheduling, and resource management activities.
Mandatory Requirements
- B.E. Civil Engineering.
- 8–12 years of relevant experience in construction project execution.
- Proven experience in industrial, factory, manufacturing plant, infrastructure, or large-scale construction projects.
- Strong understanding of RCC works, structural works, finishing works, and site management.
- Ability to read and interpret civil, structural, and architectural drawings independently.
- Experience in quantity surveying, BOQ preparation, estimation, reconciliation, and billing activities.
- Hands-on experience in contractor management and site coordination.
- Good understanding of project scheduling, cost monitoring, and progress tracking.
Preferred Experience
- Factory construction projects.
- Manufacturing facility projects.
- Industrial building construction.
- Infrastructure projects involving large civil works.
- Exposure to project billing, quantity surveying, and cost control functions.
Not Suitable For
- Candidates with only residential villa or apartment construction experience.
- Candidates whose experience is primarily in design offices without site execution responsibility.
- Candidates without exposure to estimation, BOQ preparation, billing, or quantity surveying activities.
