Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Quantexa Consultant / Engineer with strong expertise in Quantexa platform, Azure Data Engineering, and Scala, along with deep domain understanding of AML, Transaction Monitoring, and Financial Crime. The role requires close collaboration with business and technology stakeholders to deliver robust analytical and AML solutions in the banking domain.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a subject matter expert on the Quantexa platform, supporting design, development, and implementation
- Leverage Azure Data Engineering and Scala to build scalable, high‑performance data solutions
- Understand and implement AML and Transaction Monitoring processes
- Apply strong domain knowledge in Banking, AML, and Financial Crime Detection
- Work in customer-facing engagements, handling discussions, requirement gathering, and solution walkthroughs
- Translate Business and IT requirements into clear User Stories for development teams
- Contribute to solution design by combining strong technology skills with AML domain expertise
- Deliver high-quality outputs with a focus on performance, accuracy, and compliance
- Mentor and groom team members on Quantexa platform and Azure data skills
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams in Agile delivery environments
Must-Have Skills
- 4+ years of hands-on experience in Quantexa
- Strong expertise in:
- Quantexa product and architecture
- Azure Data Engineering
- Scala
- Solid understanding of:
- AML & Transaction Monitoring processes
- Financial Crime detection frameworks
- Strong foundations in solution design
- Experience working in client-facing roles
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
Good-to-Have Skills
- Experience working in Agile / Scrum delivery models
- Exposure to large banking transformation or compliance programs
