DC Transportation Global Design Centre (DC-GDC) provides geospatial, transportation, mobility, and planning support for infrastructure projects. The team delivers GIS mapping, spatial analysis, transportation planning, and digital engineering solutions that help clients make informed decisions for sustainable and efficient transport networks.
About the Role-
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented GIS Intern to support geospatial data processing, mapping, and spatial analysis for transportation and infrastructure projects. This internship offers an excellent opportunity for students and recent graduates to gain practical, hands-on experience with industry-standard GIS tools while working alongside experienced professionals in transportation, mobility, and planning.
Key Responsibilities:
· Perform digitization, georeferencing, and spatial data management using QGIS.
· Prepare thematic maps and professional map layouts.
· Assist in integrating GIS data with AutoCAD drawings.
· Maintain, organize, and validate spatial databases.
· Analyze and organize project data using Microsoft Excel.
· Support project documentation and client deliverables.
· Follow GIS data standards, quality control procedures, and project timelines.
· Collaborate with the GDC GIS team on transportation and infrastructure projects.

Eligibility:
- Pursuing or completed a Bachelor's or Master's degree in GIS, Geography, Geoinformatics, Geomatics, Civil Engineering, Urban Planning, or a related field.
- Basic knowledge of QGIS, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Excel.
- Understanding of GIS concepts, coordinate systems, projections, and map production.
- Good analytical, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt in a professional environment.
Internship Details:
- Mode: Work from Office
- Location: Bangalore
- Duration: 3–6 Months
- Laptop: Candidates must bring and use their own personal laptop for the internship.

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
