To strengthen our clinical team, we are inviting applications for the role of Ophthalmic Assistant (Paramedical Staff).
Key Responsibilities
- Assist ophthalmologists in patient examinations and clinical procedures.
- Perform preliminary eye tests (vision acuity, refraction, intraocular pressure, etc.).
- Prepare patients for diagnostic tests and surgeries.
- Maintain and sterilise ophthalmic instruments and equipment.
- Guide patients regarding eye care, medication usage, and follow-up instructions.
- Support OPD/IPD operations and ensure smooth patient flow.
- Document patient records accurately and assist in hospital management systems.
Qualifications
- Diploma/Certification in Ophthalmic Assistance/Optometry/Paramedical Sciences.
- Experience in eye care or hospital settings preferred.
- Strong communication and patient-handling skills.
- Detail-oriented, compassionate, and team-focused.
