Role Overview
As a Logistics Executive / Sr. Executive, you will be responsible for managing the complete logistics lifecycle for pharmaceutical products, including export-import operations, regulatory compliance, documentation, cold chain monitoring, and coordination with stakeholders. The role requires ensuring timely, compliant, and cost-effective movement of goods while maintaining product quality and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
Export & Import Operations
- Manage end-to-end logistics for domestic and international pharma shipments.
- Coordinate with freight forwarders, transporters, and CHA for smooth execution.
Documentation & Compliance
- Prepare and verify export/import documentation (Invoice, Packing List, COO, BL, Shipping Bill, COA, etc.).
- Ensure compliance with CDSCO, DGFT, FDA, WHO, and GDP guidelines.
Cold Chain Management
- Monitor temperature-controlled shipments to maintain product integrity.
- Ensure adherence to cold chain protocols during storage and transit.
Customs & Licensing
- Handle customs clearance, HS code classification, and DGFT-related documentation.
- Manage import-export licenses and regulatory requirements.
ERP & Inventory Management
- Utilize ERP systems (SAP / Tally / Odoo) for GRN, dispatch planning, and stock updates.
- Generate MIS and logistics performance reports.
Audit & Documentation Control
- Maintain accurate shipment records for audits and compliance checks.
- Support internal and external audits with proper documentation.
Vendor & Cost Management
- Negotiate with logistics partners to optimize cost and service levels.
- Evaluate vendor performance and ensure continuous improvement.
Warehouse Coordination
- Ensure proper storage conditions as per pharma standards (FEFO, GMP).
- Monitor warehouse hygiene, safety, and compliance practices.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of pharma logistics regulations (GDP, WHO, FDA, CDSCO, DGFT).
- Expertise in export-import documentation and customs procedures.
- Experience in cold chain logistics and temperature-sensitive shipments.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP / Tally / Odoo or similar).
- Strong coordination, vendor management, and negotiation skills.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
- High attention to detail with compliance and audit focus.
Qualifications
- Graduate / Postgraduate in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or International Business (mandatory).
- B.Pharm / M.Pharm (preferred).
- 2–5 years of experience in pharma logistics (export/import preferred).
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
