Workplace Operational Strategist
Account Management – Work Dynamics
What this job involves:
Enabling workplace operational excellence
The Workplace Operational Strategist is responsible for defining, maintaining, and validating a workplace design standards, strategic segmentation framework, and workplace personas to enable consistent, high-performing workplace operating model across each global region, building type, and business line.
Key Responsibilities:
Portfolio Implementation & Change Management
Drive adoption by maintaining the design standards content, onboarding toolkits, site leader enablement, enabler training, and version controls.
Provide consultative support to active projects (new sites, restacks, renovations) to ensure the design standards are applied and exceptions are captured and governed.
Lead structured change management to reduce “shadow standards” and improve global adherence.
Tiering Activation & Standards Deployment
Refine tiering structure and logic through continuous alignment across Workplace Design and with key enabling partners; establish one product with scaled service levels – clearly defining how each tier drives the level of investment
Define global baseline requirements with Engineering, Brand, Accessibility and Real Estate teams; set what is mandatory vs guidance
Continually run line-by-line validation across design specifications, workplace services and amenities, and end user technology; maintain master tiered schedules; embed Tiering into workflows and tools
Workplace Persona & Workstyle Management
Validate workplace personas by aligning with Business Units, HR, Technology and Workplace teams; translating business strategy into shared planning expectations and experience narratives
Maintain persona inputs as roles and work patterns evolve; gather feedback from regions; update planning tools and guidance used in live projects

Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience in workplace strategy, design consulting, or strategic communications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Architecture, Design, Business, or related field
Design Background Preferred: Experience in workplace design, architecture, or spatial strategy strongly preferred
Multi-geography Experience: Proven ability to work across different cultures and geographic regions
Core Competencies
Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop and communicate complex workplace strategies to C-suite audiences
Matrix Management: Proven experience managing multiple workstreams and vendor relationships without direct authority
Executive Presentation Skills: Excellence in creating visually compelling presentations and storytelling for senior leadership
Data Analysis & Reporting: Proficiency in analyzing workplace utilization data and translating insights into strategic recommendations
Design Sensibility: Understanding how design principles impact employee experience and space activation
Essential Skills
Communication & Engagement: Exceptional ability to build programs, engage diverse teams, and provide strategic guidance
Relationship Building: Proven track record of building and maintaining relationships across complex organizational structures
Project Management: Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities and deliverables
Technology Proficiency: Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite, presentation software, and workplace analytics platforms
