A Chemistry Teacher is responsible for teaching students the fundamentals of chemistry, developing lesson plans, conducting experiments, and helping students understand scientific concepts in a safe and engaging environment. Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or related field
- B.Ed. (Bachelor of Education) or teaching certification
- Strong knowledge of chemistry concepts
- Good communication and classroom management skills
- Plan and deliver chemistry lessons according to the school curriculum
- Explain concepts such as atoms, molecules, reactions, and chemical equations
- Conduct laboratory experiments and ensure safety procedures are followed
- Prepare and grade assignments, tests, and lab reports
- Encourage critical thinking and scientific curiosity among students
- Use teaching aids like models, charts, and digital tools
- Maintain discipline and create a positive learning environment
- Provide extra support to students who need help
- Stay updated with new developments in chemistry and teaching methods
