We are looking for a dynamic Sales Director / Sr. Sales Director with a proven track record of driving business growth, building strategic customer relationships, and leading large deal pursuits across the Automotive, FMCG, and Rail industries in the APAC region.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to expand the customer base and strengthen market presence
- Drive business growth and achieve sales targets through effective territory and account management
- Develop and execute sales initiatives, strategies, and programs to capture new market opportunities
- Define and implement action plans to achieve quarterly and annual revenue targets across assigned territories and solution portfolios
- Identify, build, and convert new business opportunities across Automotive OEMs, Tier-1 suppliers, FMCG, and Rail industry customers in the APAC region
- Build and maintain strong executive-level relationships with customers and prospects
- Develop large business solutions and strategic engagements valued at USD 10M+ that create long-term customer value
- Engage with senior executives and key decision-makers to drive strategic partnerships and business growth
- Present Tata Elxsi's capabilities, solutions, and vision to executive leadership teams
- Develop proposal strategies, win themes, and account growth plans
- Manage customer expectations while ensuring mutually beneficial business outcomes
- Influence customer decisions and establish Tata Elxsi as a trusted strategic partner
- Drive customer satisfaction, loyalty, and long-term account growth
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 15 years of experience in selling technology, engineering, or digital services to Automotive, FMCG, or Rail industry customers
- Bachelor's Degree (BE/B.Tech) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Automotive Engineering, or related disciplines
- MBA is preferred

- Deep understanding of Automotive, FMCG, and Rail industry ecosystems, customer buying behavior, and competitive landscape
- Strong experience selling Automotive Engineering Services, including:
- Autonomous Driving (AD)
- ADAS
- Infotainment & Digital Cockpit
- Cluster Solutions
- Body & Chassis Engineering
- Connected Vehicle Technologies
- Telematics
- Proven experience managing medium-to-large, multi-year integrated deals
- Strong experience managing end-to-end sales cycles, from lead generation through contracting and closure
- Experience using CRM platforms such as Salesforce or similar tools
- Excellent communication, negotiation, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
