Project Mechanical Engineer
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Planning and Execution: Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines,
budgets, resource allocation, and risk assessments. Ensure all project activities align with the overall
objectives of the plant.
- Design and Engineering: Collaborate with the engineering team to create detailed project
designs and specifications. Oversee the development and implementation of mechanical systems,
ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Budget Management: Monitor project budgets, track expenses, and implement cost-saving
measures without compromising quality. Prepare regular financial reports and forecasts for
management review.
- Vendor and Contractor Management: Coordinate with external vendors, contractors and
suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services. Evaluate contractor performance and
manage contracts to ensure adherence to project specifications.
- Quality Control: Implement rigorous quality control processes to ensure all project deliverables
meet or exceed industry standards. Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify and address
potential issues.
- Safety and Compliance: Promote a culture of safety within the project team and ensure all
activities comply with relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations. Conduct risk
assessments and implement mitigation strategies.
- Communication and Reporting: Maintain clear and open communication with management,
team members. Prepare and present regular progress reports, highlighting key achievements and
addressing any challenges.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including process engineers,
maintenance personnel, and operations staff, to ensure seamless project execution. Provide
technical guidance and support as needed.

Utilize strong analytical and problem-solving skills to overcome challenges and ensure project
success.

Required Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering/ B Tech
- 4-7 years of experience in project engineering within the chemical or related industries.
- Proven track record of successfully managing medium-sized projects from conception to
completion.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, design principles, and industry standards.
- Excellent project management skills, including planning, budgeting, and resource allocation.
- Proficient in project management software and tools.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with
diverse teams.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
- Problem-solving mind set with a proactive and results-driven approach.
Pay: ₹400,000.00 - ₹700,000.00 per year
