A Pre-Engineered Building (PEB) Engineer manages the design coordination, structural detailing, factory fabrication, and on-site erection of steel structures
Key Responsibilities
- Design & Drawing Coordination: Review and coordinate general arrangement (GA) drawings, anchor bolt plans, and shop/fabrication drawings with design teams and clients.
- Production & Planning: Monitor material optimization, Bill of Materials (BOM), and production schedules for primary members (columns, rafters) and secondary members (purlins, girts).
- Site Execution & Erection: Supervise on-site installation to ensure precise alignment, leveling, bolting, and structural stability.
- Quality & Safety Compliance: Conduct regular inspections to verify that welding, painting, and cladding meet engineering standards and safety rules.
- Interdepartmental Liaison: Coordinate interface activities between civil contractors, MEP vendors, and dispatch teams.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: Diploma or B.Tech/B.E. in Civil or Mechanical Engineering.
- Experience: 2 to 8 years of hands-on experience in PEB manufacturing, structural steel fabrication, or site erection.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD, structural analysis concepts, reading fabrication drawings, and understanding IS/international design codes.
- Soft Skills: Strong communication, problem-solving abilities for site bottlenecks, and project tracking
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
Work Location: Hybrid remote in New Delhi, Delhi (New Delhi District)
