Role description
Role Summary Work with a team in supporting the design, development and implementation of global finance processes under various disciplines. Responsible for focusing on organisational objectives by supporting the analytics thereby contributing to effective decision making. Experienced team member with high levels of independence in planning and carrying out work within a framework, guiding team members. Performance Profile Expectations from this role: 1. Acquire, exhibit, and enhance working knowledge of the business and functional aspects of the processes being implemented. 2. Provide a high level of service to internal customers. 3. Ensure processes are in accordance with company policy. 4. Provide support to business leadership in decision making. 5. Recognize and maintain confidential information. 6. Identify potential process improvements and system enhancements to improve operational efficiencies and quality. 7. Responsible for statutory compliance and filings. 8. Responsible for the Payment Process with regards to timelines and activities needed for each sales order 9. Mentor and guide Associates Performance measures: 1. Accuracy and speed of execution 2. Quality of analysis 3. Meeting timelines for completion of projects / plans 4. Compliance to process and policies 5. Multi-tasking ability based on efficiency in the given assignment 6. TAT and quality of Query handling 7. Responsible for managing SOP’s Performance Areas: 1. Business Insights • Business process knowledge, data analysis and reconciliations. • Use knowledge of the business processes to analyse data and provide meaningful s for effective decision making. Provide financial result and close narratives • Identify potential process improvements and system enhancements to improve operational efficiencies and quality • Ensure that the customer satisfaction targets are met • Support the design, development, and implementation of global processes • Responsible to meet billing targets/metrics, handling escalations • Partner with internal finance leaders to develop a series of policies and procedures to drive efficiency for the organization • Develop Key Performance Indicators and create management reports to ensure financial objectives are met 2. Financial (Finance & External Reporting) • Facilitate and discuss with monthly business and finance forecasting; participate in monthly reviews • Providing accurate operating forecasts 3. Management accounting • General accounting including reconciliations, reporting • Apply policies and procedures to ensure that accounting transactions are in compliance with policies and are recorded in the financial records • Prepare cashflow forecast Skill Examples: 1.
