Role Overview
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Mechanical Design Engineer to support the design and development of mechanical components and systems. The ideal candidate will assist in creating 3D models, preparing engineering drawings, performing basic calculations, coordinating with production teams, and contributing to continuous product improvement. Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop mechanical components and assemblies for Reverse Vending Machines
- Create 3D CAD models and 2D drawings using SolidWorks or AutoCAD
- Design sheet metal and weldment components considering manufacturability
- Support prototype building and resolve technical issues during production
- Collaborate with electrical, software, and production teams for system integration
- Perform basic simulations (FEA) and validate design performance
- Ensure designs meet quality standards and manufacturability requirements
- Prepare technical documentation, BOMs, and QA test plans
Requirements
- B.Tech/M.Tech in Mechanical, Mechatronics, or Industrial Engineering
- 1–3 years of experience in mechanical design (automation or machinery preferred)
- Strong knowledge of CAD tools such as SolidWorks and AutoCAD
- Understanding of GD&T standards
- Hands-on experience in sheet metal, weldments, and manufacturing processes (CNC, bending, welding)
- Familiarity with DFM/DFA principles, BOM preparation, and prototype development
- Strong problem-solving and collaboration skills
- Knowledge of FEA is an added advantage

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
