To manage end-to-end recruitment activities for corporate and project site positions, ensuring timely hiring of quality talent to support the organization's growth and business objectives. The role involves sourcing, screening, coordinating interviews, onboarding, and maintaining recruitment databases while delivering an excellent candidate experience.
Key Responsibilities
1. Talent Acquisition & Recruitment
- Manage end-to-end recruitment activities for technical, non-technical, and leadership positions.
- Source candidates through job portals, social media platforms, employee referrals, consultants, and professional networks.
- Screen resumes and conduct preliminary interviews to assess candidate suitability.
- Coordinate and schedule interviews with hiring managers and departmental heads.
- Ensure timely closure of vacancies within agreed timelines.
2. Recruitment Planning
- Work closely with department heads to understand manpower requirements and hiring priorities.
- Prepare and maintain recruitment trackers and hiring plans.
- Build talent pipelines for critical and recurring positions.
3. Candidate Management
- Conduct telephonic and virtual screening interviews.
- Evaluate candidates based on job requirements, competencies, experience, and cultural fit.
- Maintain regular communication with candidates throughout the hiring process.
- Negotiate salary expectations and facilitate offer acceptance.
4. Offer Management & Onboarding
- Prepare and issue offer letters and appointment letters.
- Coordinate pre-employment verification and document collection.
- Ensure smooth onboarding and joining formalities for new employees.
- Track joining status and maintain recruitment records.
5. Recruitment MIS & Reporting
- Maintain candidate databases, recruitment trackers, and hiring dashboards.
- Generate periodic recruitment reports including:
- Open positions
- Offer-to-join ratio
- Time-to-fill
- Source effectiveness
- Hiring status updates
6. Employer Branding
- Support recruitment campaigns, job fairs, campus hiring, and employer branding initiatives.
- Promote VGN as an employer of choice across various recruitment platforms.
7. Compliance & Documentation
- Maintain recruitment documentation and employee records.
- Ensure recruitment processes comply with company policies and employment regulations.
Qualifications & Skills
- Graduate / Postgraduate in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in recruitment and talent acquisition.
- Experience in hiring for Real Estate, Construction, Infrastructure, or related industries will be preferred.
- Good understanding of recruitment lifecycle and sourcing strategies.
- Hands-on experience with job portals such as Naukri, LinkedIn, Indeed, and social media recruitment.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Office, and HRMS/ATS platforms.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Experience in recruiting for real estate corporate and project site positions.
- Exposure to hiring Civil Engineers, Architects, Project Managers, QA/QC Engineers, Safety Officers, CRM, Sales, Finance, HR, and Administration professionals.
- Ability to handle multiple positions simultaneously and work under tight deadlines.
- Strong networking and relationship-building capabilities.
- Result-oriented, proactive, and highly organized.
