Position: Commissioning Engineer – ELV Systems

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Commissioning Engineer – ELV Systems with hands-on experience in Fire Alarm, BMS, CCTV, and Access Control Systems (ACS). The candidate will be responsible for installation supervision, testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and handover of ELV systems at project sites.
Fire Alarm System
- Commissioning of conventional & addressable fire alarm systems
- Loop checking, device programming, cause & effect testing
- Integration with HVAC, PA, IBMS, and third-party systems
- Knowledge of NFPA guidelines and local fire authority compliance
Building Management System (BMS)
- Commissioning of DDC panels and field devices
- Testing & validation of HVAC control logic
- Integration with chillers, AHUs, pumps, VFDs
- BMS graphics validation and trend monitoring
CCTV System
- Installation & commissioning of IP-based CCTV systems
- Configuration of NVR/VMS software
- Camera focusing, IP addressing, network troubleshooting
- Testing storage, redundancy, and remote monitoring
Access Control System (ACS)
- Commissioning of biometric, RFID, and card-based systems
- Controller configuration and database management
- Integration with fire alarm & CCTV systems
- Testing door interlocks and emergency release functions
Technical Skills Required:
- Good understanding of ELV system architecture
- Hands-on experience with reputed OEMs (e.g., Siemens, Honeywell, Bosch, Hikvision, etc.)
- Knowledge of networking basics (IP addressing, VLAN, switches)
- Understanding of drawings: SLD, schematic, I/O summary, GA drawings
- Knowledge of testing instruments and commissioning tools
Qualifications:
- Diploma / B.Tech in Electrical / Electronics / Instrumentation
- Relevant certifications in Fire Alarm / BMS preferred
Soft Skills:
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
- Good communication and coordination abilities
- Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines
- Client-facing experience preferred
