- Kolkata: ₹45,000 – ₹50,000 per month
- Bardhaman: ₹50,000 – ₹60,000 per month
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Commercial Manager to oversee and manage commercial operations for our manufacturing business. The ideal candidate will be responsible for procurement, vendor management, contract negotiations, budgeting, inventory control, accounts coordination, cost management, compliance, MIS reporting, and coordination with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth business operations.
Note: Candidates applying for the Bardhaman location must have prior experience in the Ethanol Industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end procurement activities and supplier relationships.
- Identify, evaluate, and develop vendors to ensure cost-effective sourcing.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and commercial terms with suppliers and service providers.
- Monitor budgets and implement cost-control measures to improve profitability.
- Coordinate billing, invoicing, and payment processes with the accounts team.
- Oversee inventory management and stock control to maintain operational efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, statutory regulations, and commercial procedures.
- Prepare and present MIS reports and commercial performance data to management.
- Coordinate with production, sales, logistics, finance, clients, and external agencies.
- Support management in strategic planning and commercial decision-making.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Graduate or Post Graduate in Commerce, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial operations within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of procurement, contract management, budgeting, inventory control, and compliance.
- Excellent negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP systems, and MIS reporting.
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and work in a fast-paced environment.
Additional Requirement for Bardhaman Location
- Mandatory experience in the Ethanol Industry.
Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per year
