educational Publishing Consultant (Chennai Only)
Project Overview
I have completed an educational manuscript titled SAIM (Science AI & Mathematics) – Design Thinking & Future Skills for school students (Classes 8–10).
I am looking for an experienced Educational Publishing Consultant based in Chennai who can meet me in person and manage the publishing process from start to finish.
This is not a writing project. The manuscript is already completed. The consultant's role is to prepare it for submission to reputed educational publishers.
the consultant will be responsible for:
1. Manuscript Review
Review the completed manuscript.
Identify improvements required for publisher submission.
Coordinate editing if necessary.
2. Copyright
Assist with copyright registration.
Guide on protecting the SAIM™ brand (if applicable).
3. Publisher Submission Package
Prepare a professional submission package including:
Book proposal
Book synopsis
Author profile
Cover letter
Publisher pitch
Sample chapter selection
Market positioning
4. Publisher Identification
Identify 10–15 reputed educational publishers in India suitable for school curriculum and educational books.
5. Submission Management
Submit the manuscript to shortlisted publishers.
Track responses.
Follow up with publishers.
Coordinate communication until responses are received.
Preferred Experience
Experience working with educational publishers.
Experience preparing book proposals.
Understanding of Indian educational publishing.
Good communication and project management skills.
Location
Chennai Only
The consultant should be available for in-person meetings in Chennai.
Budget
₹10,000 (Negotiable based on experience and scope).
Duration
Approximately 4–8 weeks.
Pay: ₹9,593.95 - ₹10,000.00 per month
Work Location: Hybrid remote in Pallavaram, Chennai, Tamil Nadu
