Key Responsibilities:
- Define migration approach:
- SSG ISR/SSR mapping
- Routing strategy (dynamic routes, i18n)
- Decide Next.js architecture:
- App Router vs Pages Router
- API routes vs middleware
- Define CMS integration strategy (Payload APIs)
- Design performance & SEO parity plan
- Define deployment architecture on GCP / Azure
- Establish coding standards & governance
- Risk & dependency management
- Skills Required:
- Deep expertise in Next.js (10+)
- Strong React + Gatsby understanding
- Headless CMS (Payload preferred)
- SEO + Web Vitals optimization
- Cloud (GCP) + CI/CD
- Migration experience (mandatory)
