Key Responsibilities
- Production Planning & Execution: Develop and manage production schedules to meet customer demands, inventory levels, and deadlines.
- Safety & Compliance: Guarantee strict adherence to food safety regulations (e.g., HACCP, GMP) and health/safety protocols to avoid recalls.
- Quality Control: Maintain high product standards and implement, supervise, and control quality control systems.
- Team Management: Supervise, train, and motivate production staff, including setting performance goals and conducting appraisals.
- Operational Efficiency: Monitor production processes to maximize productivity, reduce waste, and improve efficiency through techniques like lean manufacturing.
- Equipment Maintenance: Schedule repairs and maintenance for machinery to ensure continuous, safe operation.
Qualifications & Skills
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in food science, business, engineering, or related field.
- Experience: Minimum 4-5 years of experience in food production management.
- Technical Skills: Deep knowledge of food safety standards (HACCP, ISO), manufacturing processes, and machinery.
- Soft Skills: Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
