Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accounts Officer to join our finance team. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of accounting principles, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to maintain accurate financial records while supporting daily accounting operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Record, verify, and summarize daily financial transactions.
- Assist in managing accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Prepare bank reconciliations and maintain accounting records.
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Assist in preparing financial reports and MIS reports.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial documentation.
- Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and statutory regulations.
- Assist in GST, TDS, and other tax-related activities.
- Coordinate with internal departments and vendors regarding payment and accounting queries.
- Perform other accounting and administrative duties assigned by the Finance Manager.
Eligibility & Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Commerce, or Finance (B.Com/M.Com/BBA Finance preferred).
- 0–2 years of experience in accounting or finance (Freshers with strong accounting knowledge are welcome to apply).
- Good understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (such as Tally ERP, Tally Prime, Zoho Books, or similar ERP systems).
- Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Basic knowledge of GST, TDS, and other applicable tax regulations.
- Willingness to learn and grow in a dynamic work environment.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with ERP software is an added advantage.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Word and Outlook.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
