Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves leading the design, development, and configuration of software applications tailored to meet specific business needs. This role requires acting as the main liaison between various stakeholders, ensuring that project objectives are clearly understood and delivered efficiently. The position demands coordinating efforts across different teams, managing timelines, and overseeing the implementation process to guarantee the successful deployment of customized solutions. Continuous engagement with project members and clients is essential to adapt to evolving requirements and maintain alignment with organizational goals.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- SAP S/4 version upgrade, exposure to simplification list assessment, SAP readiness check, remediation, and functional testing. experience in S/4 upgrade is must skill
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Oversee the integration of new features and enhancements to ensure seamless functionality.
- Mentor junior team members to support their professional growth and skill development.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP Sales and Distribution (SD).
- Strong knowledge of order-to-cash business processes and their implementation within SAP environments.
- Experience in configuring pricing, billing, and delivery modules to optimize sales operations.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to sales and distribution workflows.
- Familiarity with SAP integration points and data flow between SD and other modules such as Materials Management and Finance.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in SAP Sales and Distribution (SD).
- This position is based at our Hyderabad office.
