Key Responsibilities
- Type and prepare medical reports dictated or provided by doctors, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals.
- Accurately transcribe diagnostic reports, including Ultrasound, X-Ray, CT Scan, MRI, Pathology, and Laboratory reports, as applicable.
- Review typed reports for spelling, grammar, formatting, and accuracy.
- Ensure correct use of medical terminology and abbreviations.
- Enter and update patient information accurately in the Hospital/Diagnostic Center Management System.
- Coordinate with doctors and medical staff for corrections or clarifications in reports.
- Print, organize, and maintain medical reports and related documentation.
- Ensure timely completion and delivery of patient reports.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of patient records and medical information.
- Assist at the reception or front desk when required.
- Maintain proper records and follow the organization's documentation procedures.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Graduate or equivalent qualification preferred.
- Certification or training in Medical Typing / Medical Transcription will be an added advantage.
- Excellent typing speed and accuracy in English.
- Knowledge of Hindi typing will be an added advantage.
- Good understanding of medical terminology.
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and basic computer applications.
- Familiarity with Hospital Information Systems (HIS) or Laboratory Management Systems (LMS) is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
Experience
- Experience: 1–3 years preferred.
- Freshers with excellent typing skills and knowledge of medical terminology may also apply.
Working Hours
As per the operational requirements of the Diagnostic Center / Hospital.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Accuracy of typed medical reports.
- Typing speed and turnaround time.
- Number of reports completed within the required timeline.
- Minimal errors and corrections.
- Proper maintenance of patient records and confidentiality.
- Effective coordination with doctors and other departments.
Pay: ₹7,000.00 - ₹9,000.00 per month
Work Location: In person
