Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Area Sales Manager located in Delhi/NCR. The Area Sales Manager will be responsible for day-to-day tasks such as managing and developing the sales team, identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining customer relationships, and achieving sales targets. The role requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for sales and customer service.
A) Sales & Kay Account Managements:
1) End-to-end channel & client relationship and account management.
2) Achieve targeted sales volumes and value for assigned region on monthly and year-on-year basis.
3) Ensure collection of payments, statutory documents from targeted channel & accounts by due dates.
4) Good understanding of working in Government Departments like local authorities.
5) Incorporation of product specification in Government departments & tenders.
6) Develop new accounts, new channel for market expansion.
7) Resolve all customer queries on product quality / technical specifications, production, supplies and pricing.
B) Business Development -
1) Demonstrates advanced understanding of customer’s requirement, markets and business challenges
2) Obtain leads from Market Research, interact with existing/new customers, creating new channel.
3) Market coverage of complete territory, demonstration of products & presentation to top officials.
4) Actively participation in specification incorporation in SOR, tenders.
5) Conducting seminars/ night demos to create awareness of products.
Technical Skills and Knowledge:
1) Strong conceptual understanding of sales, marketing, business development, key account management.
2) Strong problem-solving skills.
3) Knowledge & good understanding of working in Government Departments like local authorities, PWD, NHAI etc.
4) Strong negotiations and relationship management skills.( internal and external)
5) Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
6) Deep data analysis, planning and forecasting skills
7) Advanced MS office usage skills.
8) Channel/ Key Account Management.
Qualifications

- Experience in the reflective material or related industry is a plus
