About the Role
You will lead software engineering teams responsible for delivering scalable, secure and innovative technology solutions that support business and client objectives. In this leadership role, you will define technical direction, strengthen engineering practices and drive operational excellence across the software development lifecycle. You will partner with cross-functional stakeholders to align technology investments with strategic priorities while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and technical excellence. Success is measured through delivery outcomes, engineering efficiency, platform reliability, team development and governance adherence.
What You Will Be Doing
- Define and execute software engineering strategies aligned with business and technology objectives.
- Lead multiple engineering teams to deliver high-quality, scalable and secure software solutions.
- Establish governance frameworks, development standards and lifecycle management practices.
- Drive adoption of modern technologies, cloud capabilities and engineering methodologies.
- Partner with product, architecture, operations and business leaders to achieve shared outcomes.
- Improve engineering productivity through process optimization and effective resource planning.
- Provide technical leadership for complex issues, risk mitigation and critical incident resolution.
- Build a culture of continuous learning, mentorship and engineering excellence.
- Oversee cloud architecture, platform operations, maintenance and service reliability.
- Manage budgets, delivery priorities and operational plans to support business performance.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Significant experience leading large software engineering organizations or multiple engineering teams.
- Expertise in software development methodologies, engineering governance and delivery management.
- Strong knowledge of cloud computing platforms, architecture and operational support practices.
- Experience developing and executing technology roadmaps and modernization initiatives.
- Demonstrated ability to lead organizational change, process improvement and engineering transformation.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Proven ability to manage complex programs, operational priorities and technical risk.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience within financial technology, banking, payments or regulated industries.
- Knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD, platform engineering and site reliability practices.
- Experience with enterprise architecture, application modernization and cloud migration programs.
- Familiarity with cybersecurity, compliance and regulatory requirements for software platforms.
- Relevant cloud or technology leadership certifications.
