We are Dravyam Industries Private Limited, a Navi Mumbai-based importer and trader of petroleum products, including Bitumen, LDO, and FO, and are actively expanding into Base Oil and Recycled Base Oil. Position Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Executive with 2–5 years of experience in the petroleum and petrochemical sector. In this role, you will drive business growth by securing government tenders and expanding our market footprint across private road contractors, EPC companies, and trader networks. The ideal candidate possesses deep product knowledge of road construction materials, industrial fuels, and base oils, coupled with a proven track record of B2B sales and tender bidding execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Own new customer acquisition for Bitumen, LDO, and FO across three channels: government tenders (NHAI, PWD, GeM), private road contractors and EPC companies, and dealer/trader networks.
- Build and manage a sales pipeline against a clear monthly volume target, reporting progress and closures directly to the Director.
- Open our first relationships in Base Oil and Recycled Base Oil, starting with a small set of pilot buyers among lubricant blenders and re-refiners.
- Travel regularly to meet hot-mix plant operators, EPC companies, contractors, and government procurement offices across the region.
- Run the full sales cycle - lead identification, price negotiation, order closure, and ongoing account relationship - for every deal you bring in.
- Feed back market intelligence (pricing movements, competitor activity, tender opportunities) so we can react quickly.

- Road Construction Materials: Bitumen (all grades), Bitumen Emulsion, CRMB (Crumb Rubber Modified Bitumen), PMB (Polymer Modified Bitumen).
- Industrial Fuels & Solvents: LDO (Light Diesel Oil), FO (Furnace Oil), MHO, MTO (Mineral Turpentine Oil), High-Speed Diesel (10 ppm).
- Oils: Base Oil and Recycled Base Oil.
Ideal Qualifications & Skills
Must-have
- 2 to 5 years of proven sales or business development experience specifically handling Bitumen, industrial fuels, or allied petroleum products.
- Deep understanding of the technical specifications of road infrastructure products and industrial heavy fuels.
- Working knowledge of the bitumen/petroleum trading ecosystem - dealers, contractors, EPC companies - and comfort operating in it.
- Willingness and ability to travel extensively across the region; this is a field-first role, not a desk role.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the confidence to close deals independently.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Commerce, or Chemical/Civil Engineering. An MBA in Marketing or International Business is a strong plus.
- High-level commercial negotiation, sharp relationship-building, CRM tracking, and a willingness to travel extensively for field client visits.
Good to have
- Experience selling across multiple product lines (Bitumen, LDO, FO, Base Oil, or similar).
- Familiarity with government tender and e-procurement processes (GeM, NHAI, PWD empanelment).
- An existing customer or dealer network you can activate quickly.
Compensation & Benefits
Base salary per month, plus a high, uncapped commission structure tied to sales volume and value - the more you grow the business, the more you earn. We've deliberately weighted this toward commission so your upside is directly tied to the growth you drive.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
